1964
Small Beginnings
Alvin Gingerich started a small engine repair business in his shop at home. It wasn’t long before Alvin started working on larger and larger equipment in his shop. His small engine repair business turned into a large engine repair business as he added tractor repair to his line of expertise.
1965
Gingerich Tractor Sales
Alvin started collecting broken down tractors and adding them to his supply yard in order to salvage parts off of them to fix other tractors. This was the beginnings of Gingerich Tractor Sales which soon became the business of choice for many farmers in Holmes County, Ohio to buy parts to keep their tractors going.
1966
Becoming A Family Business

2002 – 2005
Gingerich Trailer Sales
In the early 2000’s Gingerich Tractor Sales also began selling trailers as a part of their product line. This branch later expanded and became known as Gingerich Trailer Sales which is now owned and operated by Alvin’s son Daniel.
2016
Gingerich Tractor Sales Changes Ownership
Gingerich Tractor Sales came under the new ownership of Bryan Stoltzfus. Bryan always enjoyed working with large equipment and he saw the potential for Gingerich Tractor Sales to help the local farmers with their needs for service and parts.
2018
Rebranding As Buckeye Farm & Garden
In the beginning of 2018 Gingerich Tractor Sales was rebranded as Buckeye Farm And Garden. Although the business has a new face it still carries 50 years of experience supplying tractor parts and service for our community and beyond.

Our service line includes a full line of farmer equipment from tractors and parts to plows and bale wrappers. We also sell a variety of tools and supplies like bale wrap and twine as well as provide welding supplies, propane, and helium. Our store is located along State Route 39 for the convenience of our customers. We also have many products available for sale on our website for our customers who live out of our area. When it comes to farming, we provide the parts, supplies, and service you need to keep going!
